Commercial HVAC Technician

We are looking for exceptional Commercial HVAC Service Technicians in the Greenville/Spartanburg, SC areas to deliver the most efficient, highest quality customer experiences.

Standard service hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Saturday and Sunday hours will be required during times of high demand. Commercial Technicians are expected to work in excess of 40 hours per week during periods of high demand and to remain on call from time to time. Employees are compensated accordingly. As an HVAC technician, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to demonstrate technical competency and ensure desired sales metrics. You will diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

The position will be based in our office, with opportunities to travel to the market you are working in.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Proven track record with more than 3 years commercial/industrial HVAC service experience required
  • Universal refrigeration certification required
  • Superior trouble-shooting/diagnostic and repair skills for industrial and commercial equipment 
  • Highly organized, Self-starter with ability to work with little supervision
  • Clean driving record
  • Must submit to a drug screening and background check
  • No more than 2 jobs in the past 5 years
  • Availability to work on a rotating on-call schedule
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
    • Highly motivated, self-starter who’s flexible and has a great attitude on life.


This position is responsible for servicing all system issues on time and to the customer's satisfaction. These specialists will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing customer systems, performing scheduled maintenance, performing warranty work, and suggesting and performing system improvements, modifications, etc. to current commercial/industrial customers.  This position has working conditions that expose you to various weather conditions and require you to occasionally work outside normal working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

  • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business.
  • Work along side customer service and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.
  • Maintain a clean, organized job site and well-inventoried truck.
  • Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings, and retreats.
  • Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
  • Be accurate and timely with invoices, time cards, curbside feedback and option sheets.
