Standard service hours are 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Friday.  Saturday and Sunday hours will be introduced as required during times of high demand. Parts Expediters are expected to work in excess of 40 hours per week during periods of high demand and to remain on call from time to time. Employees are compensated accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Must be in possession of a legal SC Driver’s license
  • Must have excellent driving record .
  • NO D.U.I convictions
  • Ability to pass D.O.T. physical
  • High School diploma or GED certificate
  • Must be an excellent “people” person with Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Must speak fluent English.
  • Must have sufficient mobility to stop, bend, reach for objects, crawl and/or climb when necessary to reach and work on customer equipment and systems if required to assist our technicians.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds regularly and 125 pounds on occasion.
  • Must be courteous and respectful to customers and co-workers.
  • Be respectful of company property and follow safe handling procedures for larger items.
  • Engaging personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

We’re looking for exceptional parts expediters to help us achieve profitable revenue.

As a parts expediter, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to ensure desired company growth. You will expedite parts and other equipment to end users in the field and do whatever is necessary to promote customer satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibility is to expedite essential parts and equipment to the right location and end user.
  • Your primary role will be carried out in company vehicle
  • Shipping and pickups- deliver to and from job sites, customers and suppliers
  • Assist Technicians and others on job sites in any way needed, while making deliveries.
  • Assist in maintaining appropriate levels of inventory.
  • Act professionally and perform in an efficient manner to ensure an effective use of company time and resources.
  • Maintain a neat appearance (company uniforms) and good hygiene. No visible piercings.
  • Keep company provided cell phone ON and in your possession at all times during work hours.
  • Check unused or returned parts back in at the conclusion of each job/day.
  • Pick-up paperwork for processing from technicians
  • Deliver special order parts
  • Help with Facility maintenance
  • Assembly part trays for technicians
  • Familiarity with our company, products, and services so many questions can be answered without consulting others.
  • Perform other duties assigned by Management.
  • Helps us achieve profitable revenue and company growth by meeting daily expediting goals.
  • Ability to prioritize deliveries due to urgency
  • Relay accurate information to technicians, ensuing proficient, quality customer experiences.
  • Update Parts manager and dispatchers throughout the day on progress.
  • Work with Parts managers, dispatchers and field employees to improve accuracy and speed of response.
  • Commit to ongoing self and formal education in the parts expediting field
  • Abide by company procedures, policies and systems
